Kew: Local Election Candidate 2024
Rob has lived and worked in Southport for over 20 years and strongly advocates a reduction in social inequality.
He has spent an almost lifetime career in public service, first with the police force then with the NHS. During that time he served as a union rep for UNISON.
He believes strongly in environmental responsibility and has been involved in various community projects including conservation in several areas of the north west ranging from replanting of natural environment in the Lake District to construction projects for homelessness.
Rob now co owns an education company, providing supplementary education for students of all ages with the view to improving their chances of success. He and his wife both strongly believe that education should not be a reflection of economic background.
Rob joined the Green Party as he believes in the progressive politics of the Greens and the objective of reducing poverty. He has a particular interest in addressing the issues of deprivation and promoting a greener future for Southport.
